Shiraz from the Mullany and Gleeson family vineyards around Young ferments in open vessels with gentle pump-overs. French-oak maturation, with little new wood, adds cedar and shape without covering the cool-climate fruit.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Hilltops Shiraz is Clonakilla's regional red beyond its Murrumbateman estate. It offers darker fruit and direct value while retaining the pepper, perfume and restraint associated with the winery's Canberra-district wines.
