Old-vine Shiraz and Grenache are sourced from the northern Barossa's Ebenezer district. Shiraz matures in seasoned French and American hogsheads, while Grenache sees minimal oak to preserve its freshness.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Wallace gives the traditional Barossa Shiraz-Grenache partnership a modern division of labour: oak shapes only the structural Shiraz component. Grenache remains bright, preventing the blend from becoming uniformly rich or woody.
