Chardonnay comes from an early-1970s parcel in Les Châtillons, Laroche's most calcareous village site. Most wine matures in stainless steel, with a small share in barriques and larger demi-muids before blending.
造り・製法
Larocheの村名畑で最も石灰質の強いLes Châtillonsにある、1970年代初頭植樹の区画からChardonnayを収穫します。大半をステンレスタンク、少量をバリックと大型樽で育成してから合わせます。
WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Laroche bottles Les Châtillons separately because its limestone content gives greater mineral length than the domaine's blended village Chablis. The small wood component adds shape without hiding that site distinction.
