Chardonnay is hand harvested from Chanson's southeast-facing Clos des Mouches Premier Cru parcel in southern Beaune. Careful vinification and oak maturation develop structure while retaining the site's freshness.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Chanson is a major owner within Clos des Mouches and bottles the white separately from its red wine from the same climat. The site gives Beaune Chardonnay an unusual combination of sunlight, mineral tension and ageing structure.
