Chardonnay is hand harvested primarily from Pat and Ted's Vineyard on Mount Bonython, with two other Piccadilly Valley sites contributing. Small parcels are handled to preserve cool-climate fruit, acidity and old-vine concentration.

Rather than one vineyard, this bottling composes a Piccadilly Valley view around Pat and Ted's old vines. It sits between Tapanappa's single-site Tiers wines and broader Adelaide Hills Chardonnay in specificity.
