Pinot Noir comes from the elevated Aux Chaumes parcel above Nuits-Saint-Georges. The cooler position slows ripening, while careful small-lot vinification and measured oak preserve perfume and natural acidity.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Aux Chaumes is a named high-slope site rather than Cathiard's general Hautes-Côtes de Nuits blend. Its altitude gives a more floral, fine-boned expression than the domaine's denser village and Premier Cru wines below.
