Shiraz is sourced from Coonawarra's terra rossa soils, the sole regional source used for Bin 128 since its first release. The wine matures in a mix of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads.
造り・製法
初リリース以来、Bin 128だけに使われてきたCoonawarraのテラロッサ土壌からShirazを収穫します。新樽と使用済みのフレンチオーク製ホッグスヘッドを組み合わせて育成します。
WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Bin 128 is Penfolds' cool-climate counterpoint to the warmer, richer Bin 28 Shiraz. Coonawarra fruit and French rather than American oak give a more perfumed, transparent and tightly structured expression.
