The inaugural 2019 Forebear is made from Shiraz planted in the nineteenth century at Torbreck's Hillside Vineyard. The small lot is matured in a combination of new French and Austrian oak.

Forebear isolates exceptionally old Hillside vines and stands apart from Torbreck's grower-vineyard blends. Its inaugural vintage and rare source make it a concentrated historical expression of Barossa Shiraz.
