Riesling is drawn from three family vineyards in Flaxman Valley within High Eden. Cool fermentation in stainless steel preserves perfume and natural acidity, while the rocky granitic, quartz and slate setting contributes to the wine's mineral profile.

No.12 focuses on elevated Flaxman Valley rather than the broader Eden Valley blend used for No.4. The higher, rockier source gives a more perfumed, satin-textured and sharply mineral expression.
