Selected Pinot Noir from Pooley's Butcher's Hill Vineyard enters the Oronsay range only in qualifying vintages. A high whole-bunch component and close barrel selection build perfume and texture around the site's dolerite soils.
造り・製法
PooleyのButcher's Hill Vineyardから選抜したPinot Noirを、基準を満たす年だけOronsayとして仕込みます。高い全房比率と厳しい樽選抜で、粗粒玄武岩質土壌由来の果実に香りと質感を組み立てます。
WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Oronsay is a selection tier rather than the standard vineyard bottling: only chosen parcels and barrels carry the name. Butcher's Hill supplies a darker, more structured expression within that limited series.
