Lifted blackberry, panforte and smoke lead into blackberry, sage and leafy herb flavours. Fine-grained tannin, mocha-toned oak and a long chocolate finish give this mature Grange freshness as well as weight.立ち上がるブラックベリー、パンフォルテ、煙の香りに、セージや葉を思わせるハーブの風味が続きます。細かなタンニン、モカ調の樽、長いチョコレートの余韻が、熟成したGrangeに厚みと鮮度を与えます。

The 1997 blend is predominantly Shiraz with a small Cabernet Sauvignon component, sourced across several South Australian regions. Selected lots follow the Grange model of separate vinification and maturation in new American oak before final assembly.
造り・製法
1997年はShirazを主体に少量のCabernet Sauvignonを加え、South Australiaの複数産地から果実を選んでいます。選抜ロットを別々に醸造し、新しいAmerican oakで育成してから最終ブレンドするGrangeの手法です。
WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
This vintage is noted for a fresher, earlier-drinking expression of Grange, while retaining the label's multi-regional depth and smoky oak signature. It is shaped by selection across regions rather than one vineyard.
